China South-to-North Water Diversion Corporation Limited will host the Forum on High-quality Development of National Water Network and South-to-North Water Diversion, a Special Session of the XVIII World Water Congress, aiming to create a comprehensive platform of water resources, water environment, aquatic ecology, and water security. The call for papers for this forum is announced as follows:

I.Scopes and topics

The theme of this forum is Water Security: Mission and Vision. The scope of the forum encompasses the following areas:

(1)Exploration and development of large-scale water diversion and water supply engineering.

(2)Layout and expansion of modern water industry chain.

(3)Multifunctional and comprehensive utilization of water engineering.

(4)Value realization and service improvement of aquatic ecological products.

(5)Intelligent construction and application of National Water Network.

(6)Cultural tourism development of the Grand Canal, South-to-North Water Diversion and National Water Network.

II.Targets of call

Home and abroad experts, scholars, technicians, managers, enterprises, institutions and members of organizations working in water resources and related disciplines.

III.Submission requirements

The call will end on June 10, 2023. Please submit your paper on-line by logging onto the website: nsbdqk.ijournals.cn.

IV.Publication search

Among the papers submitted by the contributors attending the conference, 50 papers will be selected and published in the form of proceedings (ISBN), 20 papers will be published in the special issue of South-to-North Water Transfers and Water Science and Technology (Chinese core journals, China science and technology core journals, RCCSE China Core Academic Journals (A), Abstracts Journal (AJ) source journals, Chemical Abstracts (CA) source journals, Ulrich’s web registered journals, and JST China source journals) , and 10 excellent papers will be selected and distributed during the forum. Meanwhile, excellent papers can be recommended to the XVIII World Water Congress.

V.Publication period and charges

The conference proceedings will be published during the forum, and the special issue of South-to-North Water Transfers and Water Science and Technology will be published within about eight months after the forum. All the papers accepted after the review will not be charged for page fees, review fees, etc.
